evening all. changed the oil and fuel filter in the tractor today. gettin ready for spring field work. got some wood split too. 2 of the lambs born had inverted eyelids (it causes ulcers on the eyeball and they can go blind) i called the vet but she was to swamped in the office to come out. i loaded them in a big plastic tub thinking they wouldn't get out and threw them on the front seat. had my hands full. the vet injects penicillin between the eyeball and eyelid to correct the problem. the old way was to cut some of the eyelid away. i have had it happen a few times over the years. hope ya'll had a good day.

About 30 minutes i had to cut a couple of inches off the the side bar engine mount and drill new holes and a flat plate on the bottom I've been busy it just has one bolt one the bottom lol it's very solid with 4 mounts locations i just have to add one more to be finished with 5 fasteners.

Hey Phil: This time I have a bull for sure. Going to name him 'JackLeg', because of his one white leg. Longhorns throw many odd color patterns.

Good evening gentlemen and Todd ;)

    And Howdy Mark.

Wanted to say thanks Mark, the package arrived and the finland fresh Husqvarna OEM air filter has been transferred from the box to the saw.

My workbench is an overload mess right now but the saws are on their wood plankies. yes, that's right plankies, not blankies. But I did put the 372 on a blankie for it's air filter surgery.

Old filter is removed and placed on top for comparison.

    Thanks again, old bean!
The old one smelled very familiar ... and I cast my mind back, and it reminded me of the oily creosotey smell around old British Railway trains/equipment.

I was surprised to read at bailey's that "These are oil-less filters." So I guess I don't have to oil it?
I wonder what Niko @SawTroll has to say at that.

Photos to come -- my phone is too discharged to sync.

It is in the air for sure, we got to a high of 56 today:havingarest:, they were calling for 51, missed it by just a little :badpc:.
I'm not sure what could have caused the rise in local temps :blob2::innocent:.

Evening/nite y'all! 71 & got up to 81 today!! I should have some parts in but been staying at girlfriend's house til next Sunday while she taking care of family member that had surgery in Chicago. All is well though. She had me dinners already made in the fridge so I won't have to eat junk. Hopefully Friday if weather nice I'll get to cut some storm ash. My saws are itching to be run!! Stay safe my friends.

Hey good evening Ray, how are you and the missus tonight?
Just came in from the outdoors -- felt like it was freezing, maybe it was raynaud's kicking in or something.
but I see it's a toasty 52F out there; can't complain about that.

Sweet! That Jack Leg is a fine looking feller Larry. He looks like he's "thinking" a few things out already.
I don't want to humanize, but he does look pensive in that pic.

    What's up Phil.
Hope all is well with you out in the Island.
Sounds toasty there still, it's 46 out here right now, they are saying 31 tonight which will feel cold after today.
Now Wednesday morning that will feel real cold as they are calling for a low of 19.
