Did you try splitting it in half like I said?

Or did you just go through the back?

I prefer the red shinny's but they just introduced them here and the echo 590s was over four years ago
So i will stick with them and the 490.

Thanks much and much appreciated, Larry. Reports are fever has broken, he is eating and feeling somewhat better. They are trying to figure out where the infection is. My money is on the gallbladder again, but thinks it's his hip. She has some experience from being a geriatric nurse long ago.
Yes, you're right it was a blessing to have some time together. Taught me a few things.
Managed to get the asthma under control, too, even though it took most of the day.

Personally I like fat and long slabs with character in the grain. I enjoyed what I found in my first Ash last year. Lovely color with a nice grain. That came my way cause I was seen slabbing a 10 foot 38" dia. white oak in the yard waste dump,&their saws were short:laughing: "Wood U like to look at her?":dancing:
    Stay safe & enjoy

I started through the back but ran into length issues...

I then tried to split it but I cannot get it hot enough to open it

Good evening Don Neelio, looks like the T-storms are keeping it under 100F for you this week. Watch out for the gully washers!

Still alive, but my mind is slightly cooked. Aerospace defense isn't as cool as it sounds, money's ok. ITAR regs make no sense. Ok, the place is FULL of people not born in the US, but are now US citizens. But, I can't chat about some tech that's been around since the 80s with some engineer I know from another NATO country.... Because... Weapons proliferation? Aren't we selling this crap to that same country anyway? And hasn't all this tech been put out there in textbooks, and spec sheets for the last 30 years?

Oh well, guess it keeps all those govt paper pushers off the streets, or from working jobs where they might do serious damage. ;)
