    Afternoon from SE Oklahoma; 101*f / 38*c ~ feels like 112*f..........
Farmer who's cutting my hay, blew out rear tires the other day on two separate tractors. Well, I let him know early this A.M. that the last tire he put on is flat. Talk about a bad hair day. Stuff like that could make a grown man cry.

Never saw one. Will show my wife the site. Just back from the church. Replaced a blown leaking capacitor in the 150w sodium fixture. Also had to replace the the photocell. Had spare parts from a light I replaced in 2002. Need to buy a new photocell for a spare for the 3 lights in service.

Have they considered LED. I used to work for a sign company, we replaced a lot of ballast and transformers and some photocells, we would get very busy after a rainy windy day. Supposedly the LED lights and signs have cut the maintenance down substantially as well as reduced electric consumption. Many of the old steel warehouses and slitting companies now have LEDs and "Bad Assed" fans in them, way different than 25 yrs ago when blowing diesel fumes and dark dungeon looking warehouses were the norm.

Our mill lighting was 1000w mercury bulbs converted to sodium bulbs.
When the ballast or something major goes wrong with the 150w sodium fixtures , will look into a retrofit led fixture. The parking lot has 3 sodium lights on poles, just had the bulbs replaced a year ago. When they need bulbs again or go bad will have Emcor ( lighting/ electrical company) convert them to led lighting.

    Evening everyone.
Just buttoning up the desk and shelf for Mama's room.
Tigger was keeping an eye on me, he must've had orders. To make sure I got them done.

LOL, we found them 2 yard sticks that have Schultz on them at a flea market. I thought they'd make cool trim pieces.

Dang Brian! I've got most of those materials, just never thought of using the 2 doors 4 pedal sewing machine drawers and shelf supports that way. Job very well done!

Cardinals 18 on eighteen hits, cubs 5 and the walks given to the Cards gave at least one run with the bases loaded. Matt Carpenter started the game with a home run and had five hits in five at bats during this game. With a fan made for a good afternoon.
    May Y'all's weekend be cool

    I like recycling.
I made an end table out of an old sewing machine base a few years ago.

This shelf is in our bathroom.
