LOL - great tale! "I'M HUNTING, NOT TEXTING."

I went 'hunting' this morning, too... not texting, but cell hunting... called neighbor about couple things. knew he had gone deer hunting up at his place. 400 ac. cattle ranch. inquired as to if he had any small venison roasts he needed to get rid of, since no doubt they would be restocking this deer season. last year he offered and I got 2 backstraps. he told me good chance he mite have a roast... as his son just got a 8-pt... and was at the cutters...

    I remain optimistic...

hard to believe! but seeing is believing... the power of uncontrolled ignited gasoline vapors... is only exceeded by the indiscriminate indifference of it's insatiable greed for anything combustible... living, or not...

pushing 1 pm GM ci'rs... still gray out. am afraid the weather posts here re: S/SE TX are going to come true. 'batten down the hatches!'

have a good afternoon... lots of snow weather posts out there. stay warm.

I got me no mo jo... so off to make a go cup!... walk my doggies... will tell them about all the brave pooches today.

and besides... want to see the choo-choo train head NW on tv... and chores. got some chores to do. splitter put up, but the chips need cleaning up still... going to pull its gas tank off and ck out the ON/OFF fuel flow valve. noted dripping... on to starter when shut off. I always drain... but don't want armature sparks hooking up with any dripped vapors... iukwim!

    ... until we meet again ~ :)

I like trains... even hopped one once...

Thanks neely. Years ago when I was in the hospital I complained about the food. My nurse told me to write special on my menu and request whatever. I was eating cheeseburgers, pizza, all the good stuff for the rest of my stay. Maybe you can order some soup. Rest easy buddy. Hope you get home soon. :rock2:

It's 44*F / 5 mph winds.... Put out two round bales of hay. Had two partial bales out already, so took the feed rings off of them to let the cows make bedding out of them. They love to rub and play with those old bales and snuggle down next to a heap of hay and sleep. With the weather now turning bad they'll enjoy that dry insulated bed they're making. Just checked on them while dumping another load of pine branches and cones. The calves were already sleeping in the warm clumps of hay.
Howdy neely; I don't think any of us can keep our minds off of you at this time of your life. Either we've been there n done that, or we're thankful that those trials haven't touched us yet. It's when the going gets rough that we appreciate our mates who are willing to ride out the storms of life with us. Tonight is prayer meeting night at church. I'll put in a good word for you and ask the members to do the same . ;)

Afternoon every body. Made it through surgery Tuesday. From the time I woke up till I left took NO pain meds. Sitting or stretched out in bed there was zero pain. Couldn't get comfortable in bed last night, so got very little sleep. My wife helped me go through all of my exercises and that hurt pretty fair, had to take a couple Oxycodone. Start "out patient" therapy tomorrow. I think I'm a mile ahead of where I was on my other knee. Anticipating a very good recovery.
