face cord is not a term I have heard too much of. a cord at 128 cu ft is what I expect. or assume. not that I buy any. but, I did google it, and a face cord according to them is anything not a full cord. so a face cord could be 127.5 cu ft... I guess best to inquire...

    'let the buyer beware!"

Hello Cb: Well the Ford man couldn't make it so we did the best we could . Bearings and seal went on smooth as well as driving the wheel stud bolts back through the rotor and wheel hub. After we got the brake caliper on the wheel spins ok , but we hear a slight 'Shhhhee' with pads touching the rotor. Is that normal ?

Yes that’s normal. Since rotors ain’t glazed they will do that with the pads but will instantly go away. Glad ya got them done. Packed bearings, rotors resurfaced & new lock out hubs! Ya did good!!

Thanks for the quick reply. I kinda thought it was okay, but knowing surely releases the fretting.

I can't say snow there was some nada time fora couple hours now the guessers say 28° & freezing rains. What is hitting off-vertical glass is just streaming down as rain wood. The6" of snow is diminishing from the 2" or so that was in place earlier.
BL it may be what you say, but imho always the nut holding the wheel
    Good night

To be honest Neely i need to do a better job of keeping up with life, i don't really watch any news or pay much attention to the weather much lately, i usually get the weather cast off my phone in the mornings, get my good morning thread news in the morning and I'm all good, guess i better check the weather though.

Back On for last check-in for the day. And what a day it was. And learned something about packing 4WD bearings on a 'Dana 50 IFS front axle'. Ya gotta say that part right cause it means a whole lot when it comes to parts.
Hello neely: Thank ya, my friend. U and I are both Glad. This has been one more experience for me. :rolleyes:Hmmm, wonder if Ford would hire a 75 year old  ? Wait, what am I thinkin'? I wouldn't go back to punchin' a clock again for nothin. :D
    Y'all have a good night.:drinkingcoffee:
