Good morning my friends :drinkingcoffee:.
22 here now and heading to 31. Things are suppose to get fun tonight with the winter weather advisory in effect and still calling for 4-7" with winds up to 40 mph . Also under a flood warning, but if that gets to us there's more to be concerned with :surprised3:.
Looking at the radar there's a big front between Toni/Del and James/Steve and the whole thing is starting down by Ray/BL/Michael. Is this the front that's supposed to be hitting us, I don't really see anything else, no I haven't been paying attention lately it was a busy but good weekend.
Have a great day guys.

hi chipper - what does a rack of ribs go for up your way. one of my fav joints was $22 now $25. they ha me at the 22, but I tend to loose interest at 25! too many other tasty options. one place will smoke yours for you. think runs about $13/rack. I don't pit smoke in the winter, but fun to do in summer. seems simple, but always takes couple days... tending to this n that, the preps and the follow ups.
Good morning BL.
A rack is only 10 plus tax(6%) cold, I think they are 16-18 in the restaurant, That's about the same price as they are buying them uncooked at the store.
When I want to buy them to cook I get them at Costco, little cheaper most times and better quality.
don't think they make any... but the do make heated gloves...
The 242 came in a heated model, and I think there may be a heated 241, just not here, but I could bring one in. Dolmar/makita has heated 50cc saws that are easy to get off the internet as do husky/stihl just don't see them around here much.
I've thought about those gloves, that would make all my saws have heat :blob2:.
Posted these on another forum a couple weeks ago. They look a little on the chunky side, fine for running the tractor and large saws, but they may be a little to big on the little baby saws.

it will work pretty good for roots as long as they aren't not to big. once i got the hang of it how to level the bucket at the right angles i can smooth out things pretty good. i can root out 3-4" saplings pretty easy when i need to make a path to a tree in the woods. works pretty good on multiflora rose too.
Good morning Steve :drinkingcoffee:.
Your tractor is a good bit bigger than mine, so I'm sure I would be doing smaller roots and a lot more feathering the controls. I can run 5' implements no problem on the back, I run 6' power rake they don't take much power but they do get heavy. The bucket on mine is only a 5' but I've considered a 6 for wood. What does one like yours run these days do you know.
good morning.28*/snow. happy national oatmeal day. headin out to plow some snow shortly. looks like we had enough so that the hiway crew gave me a nice pile along the driveway and mailbox. heading to the court hearing later and i don't wanna pack snow down in the driveway. have a great day peoples. FS.
Don't forget to bring the guardrail section for the evidence pile.
Have fun with the snow.

-17 and a major blizzard is about to spank us tomorrow sometime. Good grief! Big roof to do today.

Tea.

Good Morning Everyone!
Good morning GM :drinkingcoffee:.
I'll let you know when the snow is on its way.
Morning :)

You have clear off what lands on the deck or in the driveway, but otherwise it just falls and you leave it. The problem now is there is so much that what you throw off starts piling up against the first floor windows. That's not good. I've seen places where the first floor windows start at almost ground level, and that presents a problem.

I might come stay with you for a bit. I'm sick of this.
Good thing about you going to visit Tod is you wouldn't need to pack much .
Have a great day, be safe up there.

Good Morning Folks! Cloudy raw you can really feel the snow coming. 2 system converging noway we'll miss it. But hey no snow really so far. Just cold.
Trying to burn the stove hotter to appease my rad liberal neighbor from Conn. Us Yankees always were leary of those Conn Yankees. lol First morning I can remember in years had to start a fire from scratch this morning. Pain in the butt!
Stay loose. Only a month to go....we hope!
Off to see my State Rep in a bit!

Good morning everyone.
When I was in HS had a 1950 Ford Truck my father and I built from practically scratch. Remember picking it up with him from a junk yard in Cambridge, MA where RA is from for a buck! Built stake bed sides for it with 3/4"plywood. Looking back I think my father did it on Purpose to help build me up. Between that and lifting the barn door it's probably why I can cut my own firewood at nearly 69. lol
