Good downpour 44*F Morning Folks: 24 hours of nothing but rain. Right now it's at it's heaviest of all. Wore a full set of rain-wear out there this morning. At least it's not snow and ice. Looks like I'll be on honey-do missions in town today, and all I was intending to do was pick up some feed at the farm store:heart:.

    Good morning Mark :drinkingcoffee:.
Doesn't look like it would take much to heat it at that point, but you better have the pantry stocked and the wood at the ready .
    Good evening Todd.
Maybe you've missed the part where theres at least a couple of us that like the snow .

Good morning, Glad to hear you are okay neely. :drinkingcoffee:
Brought the cavalier to mechanic for engine replacement. In the 15 mile drive stopped for cooling down off the red warning for engine heat & coffee @ 6 miles. Sat with coffee radio for a few, and then reached speed limit in Bismarck killed engine and coasted a couple times til got out of town and hit 60 killed & coasted uphill pulled off edge continued the coast bump start coast process til we were over the hill back to 60 ignition off/coast for a good piece. Then itwasuphill til the turn onto the downhill sided that arrives at mechanix.:drinkingcoffee:
Been 36° for at least 5-6 hours! Better than freezing or below, nasty light rain to make for an indoor day.
    Enjoy safely Ya'll

I got the first view .
Pretty sure they've been working on this for a while now, I've seen pictures, but no listings or video until now.
Looks pretty cool. They make some very nice tools.

    Great advice!

Seems like Universal Basic Income wants to circumvent this basic capitalistic ideal. They tried it in Finland on a limited scale & in a national poll Finnish voters decidedly voted against the pilot program continuing.

Yet in Chicago, the out going Mayor, has proposed a plan to give a couple thousand low-income Chi-town dwellers $1K , no strings attached, to spend as they please, each month, so 12K a year on the taxpayer's dime! That in a city which has not been able to pay it's bills for years.

& some folks wonder why I lambast Illinois

When I bought mine it was around $800 6 or 7 years ago. I think the last price I saw was $1,019. Search Loflin rock buckets.

@chipper1 yep! My look last night showed it coming from Michael-BL-Ray, thanks guys. :drinkingcoffee:But it was just south with little for me that changed overnight. 36° sposed to get warmer in the night;) guessers may say anything.:drinkingcoffee:Rain has been steady for 4 hours I've paid attention so I may not have an exciting pic of the creek this time, even tho the drainage is soaked. It generally takes heavy fall in short period.
If this continues to you at this level:cold::crazy: it could be like the St. Louis snow 39 years ago. One of the top 10 @ 20" @ airport 24" on sidewalk out front . Guessers started off 5 p.m. news with 6-8" ended 10 o,clock news with "we don't know how much we will get ":ices_rofl: Nothing to speak of got done around town for 3 days. I hope it is minimum 4 you
    Stay safe Ya'll

Good afternoon all, 20° at chores time. Animals were fed and watered, bipeds fed and coffeed and then it was off to the medical center for an x-ray. Yep, put a crack in one of the bones in my wrist. They want to put a splint brace with a thumb immobilizer on me. I then proceeded to inform them that they would have to come help at the farm, feed the chickens, stuff the boiler, bring in wood and plow the driveway and yard on wednesday. :(They then backed down and said to use my own splint brace:happybanana:. They thought I could just grab a neighbor and have them do my chores. Like they don't have their own chores to do:****you:. Play safe out there.

I bought a rack of baby back ribs in the grocery store last week for $1.95 per pound and the entire rack was 3.3 lBs and I think the Grocery bill came to around $4.- and change. LOL. Also very easy to oven Roast at a low temperature with your favorite BBQ sauce.
