Not that bad here at least from the inside looking out, there may be some ice that could have been a problem on roads that were cleared. I like to leave a little snow on things when they start calling for freezing rain, it's a lot easier to work with than a sheet of ice.
They probably should have close the school my wife is at, the one hall was completely closed to all traffic(only 4 halls in this school so 1/4 of the school), not sure where they moved all those classes/kids to for the day. I'm sure it wasn't closed because there have already been so many days they haven't had school this yr, any normal yr I bet they would have just closed it down. There may be some folks upset that their kids had to "deal with these conditions" because of the uppity neighborhood/people there, over all it's a good school though.
I saw a video of the water coming out of the ceiling, looked like it was flowing all of 20 GPM and that went on for 45 min:crazy2:.

Hello cheeves: your wild turkey feeding reminds me of a few years i was feeding sunflower seed by the 50 lb bags to those big Ring Neck Doves. Started out with the mourning dove, but the ring necks began to show up. Now these are those city dwelling dove, but they found my place out here in the country. Must have a great sense of smell. Anyhow, the flock kept growing , and those 50 lb sacks of seed were going down faster. It got to where I was feeding over 100 birds at a time out in my front drive-way. Amazing.
Time came a time when I said: "Enough is enough already".

Good afternoon all, 12° at chores time and cloudy. Now it's snowing and will be until tomorrow. Guess I'm stuck here for a while. Animals are fed and watered, bipeds fed breakfast and lunch. Had to make a quick run to town for some rock salt, got me a little ice buildup in front of the barn and if I don't clear it away then the ROPS will hit the cross beam as I go in and out of the barn. So it's rock salt and ice chipper at least for the tire tracks. We are expecting 12" this go around. That should bring us close to our average snow fall for the year with 2 months to go. Think we'll go over avg. this season. Play safe out there.

I remember about 5 years back I asked Eric at EC saws how much for a 3120 race saw & the figure I got was about 5K

I'm sure it's going "to run" Del. :)

Try to make a vid of it. I'm sure everyone would be interested

    Evening everyone!
Just got done plowing for now.
I would guess we got over 12" since this morning.
Looks like it's starting to taper off a bit now.

Just did the same thing Brian.
You got a good bit more than we did though. We got about 5 this far and are supposed to get another 2-4 tonight. I left about 3" on the ground yesterday so it wasn't all ice(with the rain/freezing rain) and ended up moving about 8" of wet snow. I had to go light on how much I pushed, heavy stuff and I don't have chains.
