I'll probably use one off another bar if I need to. I've got 28x.050 and I'm pretty sure one other 28x.058, or I can run an adapter and a stihl bar:crazy2::lol:. Maybe even a stihl saw with a 28 :surprised3:. I just need to mark it so I don't grab it in a hurry, that would be a bummer to get where you're going and have a damaged bar:cry:. Installing a new tip would be cheaper as the bar is in good condition.

    Good morning RD35.
Glad you guys have some sort of alt power source, makes times like that a bit more bearable. Are the gas stations full.
I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine who's in cali today(lives here in GR area), we were talking about Bandana's in Bloomington :sweet:.
    Be safe down there.

Good afternoon all, 36° at chores time this AM and cloudy. Partly sunny now and warming up enough that I have to make water flow paths around the house. Trying to keep it out of the cellar. Animals are fed and watered, bipeds fed and lunch is underway. Neighbor just called with another job for the weekend, non-paying but libations included. He's getting 60 bales of hay on Saturday to replaced the bad hay he received from his supplier late last year. Problem is he has no place to put the old hay until the snow clears away and the new hay has to go in the barn on the ground level in the back of the barn. It all has to be carried by hand through the barn and around obstacles. I was thinking a temporary cable system from front to back might go a little easier on the backs. That's me thinking again, work easier not harder, or was it brainier not muscular ?? Play safe out there.

BL This is the up tic for my legs, may not be what doc had in mind and I didn't ask for specifics:ices_rofl:. Inside is covered with cushioning blankets.
Warm sunshine taking a sit from rambling around the house trying to get the dis out of the disorderly stihl sorting stuff from edge of fire. The larger mirror has a space now that the original is down in one piece.
    Back at it
Hope Ya'll have a great day

Howdy BL. Yeah just sardines. That's what Dad used when he was trapping in the mid 80s. He was getting 18 to 25 dollars a hide back then, now their 5 to 10 dollars. Not worth the effort. That was some wire the A/C guy had left up in the attic. Damn coon grabbed it with his articulating hands and pulled it all in the cage with him:). Have a fine day buddy and be safe.:givebeer:

    Good evening guys.
Had some port work done to me and my daughter today, they got the intakes a little low and had to use some filler:laughing:.
Weather started nice here with blue skies, then grey overcast, then blue with white clouds and grey together and a little rain. They just announced a tornado warning in another county, but it's not very close to us. We also now have a wind advisory and two flood watches:crazy2:. Front yard is a mess, no driving through today, maybe tomorrow when it freezes :dizzy:.
Hope you all had a great day.

    Evening,

Finished dinner and I'm into the cookies now. :sweet:

This was today's nightmare. Worst roof so far this year. There were places with 5' of snow. You can see the level of the roof on the left, we were shoveling uphill. And in the back, that 2' of snow is rock hard and it ain't moving. Might rain tomorrow. This guy would have been doomed.

I'm standing on the edge of the roof.

Depends on whether we know and like the person. This guy is really nice, doesn't have a lot of cash, but grows killer hot peppers in the summer and hands them out. So he gets a deal, a few hundred. Some a-holes are taking advantage of people and charging huge amounts of money. We bid $300 on a roof, said we could do it in a week, then the lady called back the next day and said she found someone who could do it right away. She didn't clear the price beforehand and they charged her $800. That's freaking criminal. There's a fair amount of that going on. People are freaking out because a lot of roofs have collapsed in Quebec over the last few weeks and some ^$%#$%^%$ are preying on people's fears.

And the icing on the cake was that when we got there the snow was okay, but after a few hours and the warmer temps, it turned into heart attack snow.

    Fun!
