Good morning all, once agian in the 40's to start the day but miracles do happen and today it starts out sunny. Not going to last tho, calling for clouds this afternoon and more rain showers tonight. Animals are fed and watered, humans fed and coffee is still going strong. Yesterday I trimmed my milled lumber with my son from Florida. He's up for a visit and conference, an AA conference in Ontario, Canada and then some visiting with us. I put him to work for the afternoon before feeding him. He can eat me out of house and home. Today I'll size the wood and put it on the woodshed. At least I'll finish up one side with what I have milled. A couple more logs should finish the rest. A chance of sun over the weekend might just do it. We'll see. Play safe out there.

Good Morning GMci'rs... still under 80f here. 77f! high 87f they predict ~
    Precipitation: 0%
    Wind: 1 MPH
    Humidity: 76%

nice day so far. need to finish up my last :drinkingcoffee: and get ready to head out to along the county line. want to see how the ferts and rains made the grass grow. :D mowing. but first will dethatch my under deck. that is always fun! :nofunny: prob close to end of May or 1st week in June... will need to shred down all the old bluebonnet stalks, etc... I do like them... and make an effort to encourage and preserve them... I like the bluebonnet patches at my place. but I also like it when they are gone and all... I say, all... of the yard is mowed. :popcorn2:

but it is important to ensure all the pods have shot their lot!

    have a good Wednesday...

    soon to shred

definitely one of life's pleasant joys... fresh made and hot out of the oven... warmed to that melty stage with the chips... ummm... only thing that makes them better, well, imo... is if Grandma had made them while visiting... :)

pretty good with :drinkingcoffee:, too ~

hope everyone had a great day/night

so disappointed the carb was not entirely correct, I modded a pin for the choke, but the spring tension is a bit too much, the mower does not start till i move the governor arm all the way to full throttle and then the mower does not run quite fast enough until it dies, neighbor said he will look at it tomorrow, the thing needs another blade....pfff
I might have to call my friend's brother to have him take a look, i hate to toss it out with a honda motor on it :(

    Good evening guys.
Had a good day and got a considerable amount done. It did seem as though I should have got more done, but my body is saying I did quite a bit .
The weather was great for working even though it did get up to a sweltering 72 I was in the shade most the time so it wasn't too bad:havingarest:.
Hope you all got lots done as well.

I'll be checking with my own starting fluid and checking compression with my tester. I want him to make more effort on it than me, I'm wanting to teach him to fish this time around, I don't have enough time in the day to fish for everyone .
I did a little looking into it this morning and it has hydraulic lifters as well as a decomp/compression release setup that operates on the exhaust valve. The safety switches mean nothing if it turns over and it has spark ;). There is also a fuel shutoff in the float bowl on most of the newer units that keeps them from running on, yours may be stuck in the open position, that's not the norm though because they stick closed when they are sitting and the fuel residue evaporates or corrosion sets in from moisture brought into the system from ethanol and the ethanol itself .
    Have fun mowing :).
Thanks, looking forward to the health insurance/benefits, let me know if you want me to swing by with Air Force One and and grab you up for a nice ski trip or something :D.
