hi leeroy - right! bees and too much rains. not my favs. latter cuts into my camp fire time. lol. 47 yrs is a lot of raking time. engineering designs aside, the keyway slot, ie key seemed a bit small for what it was hooking up, and given the nature of what it was called to do... 47 yrs of that level of dare I say... 'abuse' [loading and unloading] may have just said:

"take this job and shove it!"

lol never heard of 'scrounging hay'.... :popcorn2:

leeroy - might ought to take some heed of Farmer Steve's sage experienced farm based advice... I hear tell... he can fix anything with nothing in no time at all!

alfalfa squares always in high demand down in the county. usually fgt'd in... a preferred feed for the horse people.

Good Morning. just :drinkingcoffee:, reading the news. got places to go soon. hope rains stay light

76f out close to noon, 83f the high.
    Precipitation: 90%
    Wind: 4 MPH
    Humidity: 96%

I think the lady interviewed last nite on local news at 5 regarding all this rain said it best. "no, I don't care for these rains. 'cause when you add in all the never ending, always on-going road construction... the going gets pretty slow!"

drizzly out, hints of broken clouds out there. radar map shows the storm just mostly E of us at this time. but... :nofunny: its rotational, and as such is expected to return. for several days.

rotational and confrontational - not my fav combos.

but :drinkingcoffee: and a GMci is.

    ...have a nice day!

    'over n out!'

4th cutting is mowed Leeroy. Saw the neighbor pulling down the lane with his discbine so i went over and asked how much to mow my little patch? "just throw a couple of armloads of wood in the truck and bring it down". :happy:It would have taken me longer to hookup my mower than what it took him to mow it.

Glad it's not too bad right now.
Those dang people, I tell ya .
It stinks, glad I have the tools, the place to burn the brush, I burn wood, and the know-how to get it all done no matter how long it does take.
I can imagine working our little lot if it was a full blown tornado. What's interesting is our yard looks to be one of the heaviest hit o_O.
Like I was saying the good thing is I had plans for a few of these to come down anyway and we get to burn the wood, maybe I'll figure out the rest of the reasons later. Once I get the back cleaned up by the kids fort/shed I will be able to drive straight to the gravel pit so I can fill that area in. I had considered clearing that but the trees flattened everything right where I would have made the trail so that's good. I may use the lumber to timber frame the front porch in as well. Plenty of good should come from it :D.
Busy as I can be, feeling a little better today too . Remember the stick that walked me in the knee, last night I looked down and was like :surprised3:, it's all that green yellow , guess I really did hurt it .
