Back from a morning ride. Helped 2 ladies , one fell and chain was off and jammed in the cassette. Got the bike working, but they were waiting for a someone to pick them up. She said it was new chain.
Could see the cassette gears were worn and should have been changed. Kind of like a chainsaw running a new chain on a worn sprocket.

Howdy Ray. Hope all's well over yonder. Yeah and to think I'm 100 miles from some of that and recieved 0.00 " of rain:angry:. Weather lady kept saying we'd get 3" or so for 3 days in a row. How can they be so wrong:confused:. Oh well like my cowboy buddy next door always says " Ray it's going to rain sooner or later" and my favorite " It can get wet a lot faster then it gets dry". Hope the weekends a great one for ya. Take care. :givebeer:

Good evening, sleep-awake schedule got outa wack over last 2 or 3 days. Woke up yesterday at 5 pm saw some concrete blocks & pallets at the same address , in free c'list. Turns out when I check local price the wear and tear on the vehicle may tip the scale to less actual benefit. Slightly better than break even with a workout in the handling blocks 90 times so far. So no 3rd trip, if more become useful Lowes will sell them 2 me.
Did replace burnt maxflo foam. Haven't tried to start the Ms-460 since the fire in November. 3/4 full of old fuel 3rd choked pull popped, 2nd on fast idle ran very well, cut with a new chain gooder than I recalled. Cheered this old fool right up. :happybanana:Now if I can get the used 661 in similar shape. Does anyplace other than dealer have exhaust gaskets? Since the local dealer lacks same I may make my own since my mechanic has the hole punches & some gasket materials I gave him. He has use more often, and I know where to find it. Muff-mod time. May be too late to avoid pulling the cylinder to see what can be fixticated of the heat damage from the EPA clogged exhaust port.
I've gotten the 660 crankshaft and maxflow setup for the 661 stroker build when ever John over on the other station is ready to build again. 98.52 cc's in the same package (mostly) as the 661:innocent:

Mawhnin' AS! I am happy to announce that several years after its extinction, I am a proud owner of not 1 but 2 346 xp's!!! Both a O.E and a N.E. at this rate I will have to wait until Husqvarna retires the 550xp and wait several years to obtain said 550xp. But hey, I'm getting there... slowly! :D

Congrats on the new saws. Did you get a chance to run them yet:chainsaw:.
The 346 is my favorite firewood saw, I like the 550 when I'm on jobs.
I ran the ms200 & 201 rear handle and the 261cm today, it was a stihl day(@farmer steve I was sweating in that hoodie:laughing:).
Hope you have a great night.
I just shipped this one to NJ.

Yes I did, well the O.E. Sadly the N.E. is in need of a new piston and cylinder, the guy I bought it from had a 350 45mm cyl on it. As regards to the O.E..... I ran it next to my 350 and well, the O.E. is my 350 on steroids!!!!!

Can the cylinder be cleaned up, many times they can, a piston is around 35-45.
OEM P&C can be had for around 100 plus shipping or if your dealers give a good price you could avoid the shipping.
Let me know if you need a hand sourcing one.
I think the NE has a little more snort, but most guys say differently. I've owned a good number of both, I wish the NE came with an orange clutch cover. A good upgrade for a clutch cover is one from a 455 rancher, it has a nice tensioner and it's all orange .

    Morning everyone!

Got a new rescue dog for us yesterday. He's going to be a big boy judging from the size of his feet and head.
Definitely going to need some work to make a him into a good dog. But we'll get there as he's only 10 months old.

I did not get the 346 cyl with it, they guy is sure he has it and said he will look for it. Hopefully its just aluminum transfer and I can acid tread it. Why orange? Not a fan of the grey? That's half the reason why I want a 550 is the grey. :)
