    Good morning Todd
I hope to have pics before winter. If so, largest slabs for me.
Found out that my estimate of width needed to bring trailer around a 90° & under power lines was a bit tight. Gonna leave the trailer here with half the pallets brought to load split wood upon. Make a few adjustments to route in the morning.
    Rest easy topsiders

    Good evening guys.
Sure was nice out here today, too bad the sun is dropping so early, makes it hard to get much done in the evening.
Hope you had a great day.

Not so sure about that, but he's sure got a nice blade:laughing:.

Mine was bought around 02, it's got a lot of hrs on it. It's done quite a few fall cleanup jobs, also was used on our yard and all my mow jobs during that time, as well a lot of snow blowing in the winter. It's a redmax.
I got another fat husky 70cc saw .

Very well thanks. We had a good number of people over, I'm still recovering. I did get most of what I wanted done and even some things that weren't part of my plan so that was good, now to get some more done before winter gets here.
    Have a great day :drinkingcoffee:.

Here's a few pictures, there were a bunch more folks inside and more came later .

No new hires that's for sure. That would mean more paperwork which I also hate. Will look at other opportunities where I would have less interaction with people.

I hear you buddy, they aren't making it any easier to have employees :rare2:.
Theres a reason I don't advertise, word of mouth gets me the same type of people I'm working with, and if they aren't then I send them to you .

Thanks Todd. My wife just told me we had had 75+ here, we usually have around 50, so it was a nice turnout.

It's karma or something like that. I've been mentally preparing to show the road engineers where the best adjustments for less opportunity for accidents. Then when I need to make a 90° corner for the minivan and trailer to move it needed 8 or nine adjustments to allow the van to squeeze thru. With rest and morning light it will get squared away. Then be easier to bring loads of logs right to the splitter, next to the pallet recieving the splits. I Hope
    Good night Ya'll

I was out working in the front yard and I could tell the temps were cooler. no doubt the (promised) front had finally arrived. got a call from about 100 miles N of me and we talked about the weather. he said all the flags he had seen today were pointing S. and it was a nice fall day...

later this evening I was out helping the pine needle lady's dad load up about half a dozen bins of pine needles, he said it was 78f at his place when he left. I had asked him if he had left the front door open and the a/c on? lol... I was barely dressed, no T just to help him load... and I said -

"omg, maybe I am going to be missing August real soon!"

    kinda chilly at 78f! :cold:
