hello Gm1 ~ low 40's tonite...
hi SWH - it was a great day. and I slept like a baby. but did wake up this morn (bit pase normal reveille) with a bit of a stiff back. hmm, I thot. what the... is with that! din't cut no wood, din't lift nothing too much... oh yeah! then I remembered all I did yesterday... omg, prob lucky I was ever able to walk... lol but soon enuff I was bouncing about...
have a nice day!
Looking outside it appears someone shook my pine trees again last night after I went to bed... and it still hasn't all stopped/settled. and no, it's not beautiful!
but, alas, of course the trees are. magnificent. guess the price a wannaB pioneer has to pay to prentend he lives in log cabin in High Cascades.... ie, needles vs. snow
Afternoon @Backyard Lumberjack et al!
55 and light rain. That really took care of the snow! Might get 4" tonight as this system finishes off with much colder temps.
me, too. a bit. best I could come up with was... proves world really is flat, so as then as everyone had thought so... the proof is accurate... about as much as the waste of tv time we have to deal with. imo: fake hearings. fake news. too much fake news. of course though... none here!
Loblolly? Longleaf? Or neither?
hi chipper - I am still doing 'inside stuff myself'... which hasn't amounted to a can of beans... other than some pleasant
cold n dreary out. of course, with yesterday and the low, slow drizzles... garden looks like a slice of Eden. lol
hi Leeroy! great snow pix!! thanks for posting it. along with saw and tractor pix... I like snow pix a lot, too. your barn project looks as if it sits in the middle of a ski resort ski run with a load of fresh powder all over the runs... well, imo.
the never ending, always dropping... PITA kind!
guess I can't say good morning, cause now its deep in afternoon. a cold one down here, too!
what a change! to bed last nite, well, this morning... with a/c on... and up bit later and turn the heat ON! a/c was set at 73f... house was 71f 'lights out'... and 69f at 'last call reveille'. first order of the new day... switch thermostat button from cool to heat. task #1; completed.
but actually, I am looking forward to getting outside. enjoy the cool, brisk air and weather. some off n on, drizzles. might ck with the radar dept. first. I see inter'mtnt drops in bird baths... walk the pup. then brunch. fried fresh russet squares, all the rest of bacon (BLT's, garden tomatoes) some JD sausage... couple yard eggs. I got it a bit backwards last nite. I have no issues with field day activities. after all, how can one call front yard park-like if such the case. US Marine field day rule #1: perfection. clean, perfectly clean... top to bottom! perfection! no exceptions. lol. issue is more one of staying squared away. that can get a bit side-tracked when on solo hops. lol. KP-wise. but, within 30 mins I had things squared away again.
51f out, 54f the high... 42f tonite. windy and gusty at times. visual: cold, wet and bit dreary ~
well, time's awaisting.
have a nice day.
