Good morning y’all. Missed out yesterday I believe. Current 60* and overcast. Kiddo has come around and seems to be feeling much better. Oldest and I made a small wagon last night out of a pallet wood but now he needs some little wheels for it. Nice to get out and get stuff done with the kiddos and have time. Got another swing hung up yesterday and a pulley lift on their fort.
And got the ms261cm out to check my hand filing which showed to be alright still need more practice but it’s not bad. I’d say on par or close to the grinder but sometimes I can get it better...so I feel lol
Good morn all. Another month, another scam on my FIL's cc statement. Today will be devoted to going to their bank & getting my name on their cc account so I can call direct w/o them having to be there.
Then I'll try to get the charges taken off as a phishing scam.
We're not sure how we can prevent this outside of taking the phones away. He just cannot say "no", he has to answer every single call.
All the *******'s need to do is say "you've won a prize"
today is my last day of treatment yesterday I finished chemo
feels like 5f with the wind about 20 without
have a grateful,safe day/night
good afternoon guy's
I am not a fan of hot buttered rum. have had it. not bad at top of ski slope taking a break, though! but to be honest I am more a fan of hot buttered toast.
today's national theme -
good news there jk - thanks for sharing it. hope all goes well for you...
Good morning guys .
Woke to 17 and it's supposed to get up to 27, it's 25 right now.
Already done a bunch of running around, probably won't get any wood split today, I'll probably wait for it to snow tonight/tomorrow lol.
Had a nice sunrise this morning. You know what they say, red sky at night, sailors delight, red sky in the morning a true michiganders delight .
When we were out and about we got to see a pretty rare sight, beautiful snowy white owl. We drove past it and I got these pictures(had to turn around for this), then went to our destination and came back about 2hrs later and it was still there. There was a guy in his car taking pictures and I stopped and talked with him a bit and it flew down the power lines a way and landed on the pole, these things are awesome in flight. We also saw a bald eagle about 6 miles earlier, but it was too high to get a good picture.
Good afternoon Kyle.
Pretty sure the stuff he's getting won't be as good as ours, it's coming from Ohio or Canada .
Get that cherry all worked up yet, gonna be covered with snow if not .
That's Todd .
I may if I get the cash together for it, I need a couple things to come together to make it happen.
Then I have to go on a little road trip to pick it up.
sure are some changes and additions! -
30/31 A coupe now primered
or maybe painted a flat black
A fuel tank removed
cowl vent added
tilt steering wheel, maybe
radio antennae removed
no cowl lamps
wind wings gone
small side mirror added, prob a HD item...
taillights in fenders
appears to be chopped, but not much
sun visor gone
no doubt about it, some things sure do change over time... lol
- my first car was a 1930 Model A Ford Coupe. 1964 cost: $200.00 I earned the $ to purchase it mowing lawns. at $1.75/hour. and some mechanical work on the side. I painted it eventually, and also redid the upholstery. made panels, glued on the black naugahyde, did headliner, but wanted the seat rehuphlstered professionally. got it done for $35.00. a small fortune to me! black, red bead trim and a red tuck-n-roll panel in upper back section. I wanted a full tuck-n-roll, but alas... couldn't afford the sticker price. $75.00! I can still remember my mood/feeling about the cost differential. the feeling of 'that's too much for me'. a fill up was a couple of bucks! today $75.00 barely fills up some trucks...
no doubt about it, some things sure do change over time...
no snow or sleet expected here, but plenty of rains. drizzly. guess that front is finally here. cooler weather...
-6f, had to look that one up ~
hi kb - sounds like a long week ahead! stay warm. a cooler one for us, too... so they say. but not in teens, etc... brr
hi SWH - glad to hear things improving down there regarding the fires. so sad some of it, I won't even allow myself to dwell on it, or think about it. hope you have a nice weekend... rainy here today.
