Good morning all, 50° ay chores time and cloudy. Chance of showers later, we'll see. Animals are fed and watered, bipeds fed and last of the coffee is in my cup. Hunting was a bust this weekend, didn't see a thing. Swirling winds, leaves still falling and very few hunters out on Saturday. Sunday started out with calm winds and got windier as the day got on. One woodchuck neighbor and his buddy took 5 shots to kill 2 small Bambies. Two of the shots were when one of them was down and almost out. They were this years does that all the neighbors had been watching grow up. Probably not more than 75 lbs soaking wet each. Plus the killing shots were within 500 ft. of 3 nearby homes. A total no-no in NY. Maybe woodchuck is too good a name for him. Play safe out there.
