hi chipper - and to think I thought 47f was cold... lolGood morning everyone.
37 out heading to 39 with big blue skies and full sun.
Tomorrow morning it's suppose to be down to 26 degrees with precipitation and then warming to 36 with more precipitation, sounds like a mess if you ask me, need to get what I need to outside done today.
Main thing I hope to get done is clean the carb on the splitter that now has spark, I'm second in line on another splitter that needs the carb cleaned(so the owner says), we'll see if I get that one. Will run some searches and see if anything good didn't get listed or didn't get bought up this weekend.
Have a great week guys.
Good to hear CB. We have plenty of plans, you know when everything is outlawed, everyone is an outlaw. Gonna get to do some cutting and shooting next week so that should be a good time. I'm glad that we aren't as tied into the culture/MSM as much as many are. Have a great day.
speaking of big blades... happened on a grinder company off the bulletin board of bus cards while waiting for an oil change chasing stuff down in town, county line. called him, yes, we do do... shredder blades. but... u gotta bring them in!! no, no field servicing...Yeah buddy, cause you know those ES bars don't work as well.
Big blade's sell saws.
hi chipper! looks good. when I was at TSC other day hunting down some fasteners to mod up my 'shooting table', they sell nuts n bolts... all kinds, types by the #... and I was out front looking at their towable splitters. 25T to 30T $999 to $1399. nice units...like kitchen counter clean...
Well BL, this new system is pretty bad for doing multi-quotes, it doesn't seem to pick everything up when I use the command X feature and try to separate quotes into different new posts.
But yes, kitchen counter clean works well.
Lately everything has been front yard clean or just word of mouth as people know what the items are that I'm selling(lots of stuff for toys like you just bought).

no doubt! when it comes to hunting... hunting courtesy goes a long way! hope your other plans pan out for you dj ~Good morning all, 40° at chores time and going down. Rain has stopped but breeze has picked up. 3 days of tree watching has netted us no Venison. Got a surprise on opening day. Neighbor and I pull into our hunting area, get set up, him to his area and I work my way to mine. Before I can get to mine another group of guys walk in behind us and set up in between us and shoot at a deer. I say at, because the guy tried shooting through thick brush and only cut some belly hair. No blood, no deer. After seeing that we are in there they still have the nerve to sit between us. First time for those guys to be there, didn't know the property lines or the size of the area or the make up of the woods and swampy areas. I was hot. Day 2 brought them back and nobody saw anything. I have other plans for the next visit. Tree cutting tomorrow for a friend, we get the firewood. Can't pass up free wood. Play safe out there.
nice unit! couldn't open any other pix. same with other post...I hear that, been spinning pretty good this fall. Last month was crazy, I've slowed down a lot this month, but still doing a quite a bit.
What are the ones you have, have trailer and will travel.
Yes, but I watch other sites too.
I'd like to have one set up like this as far as a pusher style, but with a thin "knife" instead of a wedge and for it to be fully contained and self propelled. I haven't seen one set up like I want, so I figure it will have to be custom designed/built.
Here's the one I like up by you. I tried to get him to do a partial trade for some hunting supplies or a chainsaw lol.
workbenches, splitters and saws... can a man have too many!?My 2 aren't for sale. I only can look at craigslist, I dont do any of the social sites.
Heard TSC has a black Friday sale on the 25T units. $100 off. Glad i got mine at $300 off.hi chipper! looks good. when I was at TSC other day hunting down some fasteners to mod up my 'shooting table', they sell nuts n bolts... all kinds, types by the #... and I was out front looking at their towable splitters. 25T to 30T $999 to $1399. nice units...
hi Cb - Happy Thanksgivng. I got some wood up there too, needing some splitting. in my spare time!Evening y’all! Spent day at farm splitting some wood. Trying to catch a rd hunter out there so just been piddlin. Be safe guys
hi deaves... big bore, deep holes... and deep pockets, to boot! hope you have a nice TGD today~Evening crew, watching a little bit of street outlaws, those guys are flying, lizzy mussi ride is 959CI , thats amazing.
I don't do fascistbook myself, there are quite a few places I look that are not socialist sites.
Some are auction sites, rental equipment sale, others are just online sales sites like Craigslist, offerup is one.
As with anything else, buyer beware!
Same here 5 maybe 6 years ago.Heard TSC has a black Friday sale on the 25T units. $100 off. Glad i got mine at $300 off.![]()
turkey today, but I do like sardines! my Dad liked sardine sams. I prefer them right out of the tin... ideally in mustard sauce! I remember the days when they all used keys...Good morning. 39*/clear. Happy National Sardines day. Always good coon bait back in my teenage trapping days. @Backyard Lumberjack, It's also D.B.Cooper day.Septic tank pumping today and pole barn reorganization. Need to refill the 2 bins I sold yesterday. Have a great day all. FS.
hi stihl- called for it again in panhandle other day. have a nice day -Good morning 25/34° snow possible later
same thots here stihl: like the concept... but gpm pump rates can affect wedge speed... for a towable, i'd want an all in one unit...I dont like the 3 pt ones. No point running up hours on a tractor splitting wood. I leave the tractor for moving logs etc.
of course, some guys have a 65 hp tractor set up... just with the PTO splitter, along with their other tractors. its like this... one guy's ranch entrance is just barbed wire and bit more than a gap... another guy's entrance is more than a tractor and splitter put together...That's how I feel about the extra hrs on the tractor. I have a 24hp Honda engine I could get to run it since it comes with it's own pump(I like that too so you have less chance of contaminating your hydro system), but by the time I do that I have 2500 into a splitter I still need to make mobile. That wouldn't be too bad for what it is, but by the time I add a log lift and the extra valve, then some form of a drive setup to make it movable on it's own I'm in the 3500 range easily and I have nowhere to store it inside. Seems the timing just isn't right for me currently, besides I can find another anytime in the 2000-3500 range so I don't need to freak out, now if it was 1500....
You getting the snow there yet, the ground is almost covered here, but not the grass.
