Granburg jig for square filing?

Hey all ... I believe I saw in an old thread in f+l that the granburg file n joint could be modified to use with a square file. Can anyone verify this and give advice on modifying.

I've done it, it works, I posted pics in that other thread. It doesn't really need any modification, just clamp the file on both ends at the right angle. You'll probably have to flip the saw over to get one side of cutters because the angles are weird for the jig.
 
Thanks :hi:I may give that a try ... can it be used with double bevel files or will I need to get triangular files ... I'm not sure how it clamps on the far end
 
Thanks again .... yeah I can file it by hand but I'm really slow. I would like to use a ground one sometime but I dont know anyone who does that. The only one's I've ever used have been ones that I filed or a new one and I never thought round chisel cut that good straight out of the box.
