I’ve got a really clean ancient husky practica 61. Smokes on idle and really smokes on throttle.
Fresh petrol 50 - 1 used and filter cleaned thoroughly.
Took muffler apart to clean and it was thick with an oily greasy film inside - maybe that’s just what mufflers are like, dunno???
Any advice welcome.
It’s a tillotsen carb

Crankcase gasket shot. Requires complete powerhead disassembly.

Screws are loose possibly. Tighten them first. You might get lucky.

Ok lad, I’ll start on it - this will be a voyage into the unknown here!!!
It’s a really faithful saw and well built so I think it deserves a bit of time and effort.
