Help me identify this saw

I recently picked up a Husqvarna chainsaw with no serial number or model tag any ideas

With the tag missing it’ll be nothing but a guess

It could be a 266, or a 268 maybe.

That thar is a 266. 268/272's had a "high-top" and full wraps were not offered on 61's to the best of my knowledge. Plus, the orange top, old style brake, and old style recoil, which all appear to be original, were only found on 266's.

Measure the piston or cylinder

Carburetor number will help narrow it down.
