i am considering selling my 3100g needs some work done to it but is mostly complete. Also would like to figure out a price for it as i have no clue what this is actually worth. Ive been told this could be worth a 1000 as is. And almost double is it runs. But any input on price would be appreciate.

In my honest opinion, That saw is not a 1000 dollar saw. The crank is junk unless you can find
someone to repair it correctly. The flywheel is also junk but they can be found as they are the
same as a 2100 saw. The crank is specific to the 3100 and good luck finding one. The saw in
over all condition is not very clean. A very nice clean good runner can bring 1500 to 2000 but
that all depends on who and when someone wants one.

Labor would be the issue to R&R the crank but a "GOOD" machinist with the right stuff shouldn't be too pricey to build up, turn and key to spec... But what caused the damage might nullify the fix-it notion. Some reason for that sudden stop of momentum.

Loose flywheel caused that problem.
