The saw will start with the choke on---but will only run with the choke on. No throttle control---I rebuilt the ZAMA CS1 carb with a kit---still have the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello there, I would check the Carb Booty underneath the carb. This is the intake manifold, these are known to crack and rip causing a air leak. Good Luck, Jonathan
 
Johnathan is right, this is definitely an air leak problem. The intake boots on these are famous for cracking, if the boot is fine check the crankshaft seal.
