Asking $650.

The saw is all original including the paint. I know the back history on it and assure you it's not repainted. The owner is a nurse at the state hospital and noticed the town guys yrs ago throwing away all their old saws and asked if he could have 1, he got it w/2 NIB chains. Never used it, just wanted it because it was old and cool.

I'm not planning on restoring the saw at this time, (see Leon and TJ's restorations) but if I do I'll have the decals just in case SCS stops providing them, I order decals for all my saws and put them away. Maybe Joyce or anyone with experience could confirm this but I don't think the replacement parts came with decals so if needed you could order them per the IPL. Sorry about the name dropping this isn't HoH.

Good idea on the decals. Here's a photo of the paint can and a 17L I restored a couple years ago. I have always used Massey Fergusen Red for the red. Make sure to match an area that has not been exposed to the sun. When the last color coat is still tacky, I add two coats of clear poly to protect from fuel and oil. I also recoat the decal areas. Comparing to your photos, that green may have changed but you have what looks like real good condition to match.

Very nice job, I have several nice saws I'd like to do(20mcs, 5-30N and 3 770's) but worried about my skill level [emoji33]
The guys on HoH like the Duplo line which look very close.
Also a bunch of C series saws and a super 1050 auto.

I've yet to find an over the counter rattle can paint that stands up to fuel. Maybe I have just been unlucky but it really sucks to go through the work of a re-paint just to have it come off the first spill. It's expensive but consider a custom catalyzed paint for a supply house. You can also get an exact match that way.
