Found a gem here! Purchased from son of original owner who used it as his personal saw. Was drained and stored after he stopped using it. I cleaned it up, fueled it and it kicked over. Saw runs/oils well. 80.3cc. You all know these were built to last. Would make a great working saw or for collector. 18" bar and chain. 275.00 plus shipping. Paypal Friends and Family, please. 72-1.jpg 72-2.jpg 72-3.jpg

I have seen some c72 for 100 around me and they still up for sale i dont think its a desirable saw like 450 550 650 750 series. I just got a c72 for 40 buck my self

Yeah, I get it. When I saw this one, I really fell for it. My godfather who used to live in rural Conn had the same saw, and when I was no more than 12 or so, he let me cut with it. No safety gear, of course. I don't even think I wore gloves! Ha!
He actually worked for Homelite in Port Chester for a while as a draftsman, so his barn was full of Homelite gear.
I listed it locally for more $ than here and have had some offers, but the sentimental side of me does not want to see it rust out on someone's shelf. I may just pull it and keep for myself. Great memory!

Man of it has sentimental value do not sell it. Keep it and run it from time to time. I am not bashing the sAw at all. In fact I have not seen a original C72 in that nice of shape before. My favorite 72 is ugly as sin not much paint left. For some reason I love cutting with it when I want to pull out a old sAw. It’s just something about them. I rather cut big wood with my pm850 or my homelite 550 or S1050. Small wood with my xl76 or pm10-10s. Yep got rid of all my stigma and husqvarnas I only run vintage now. I did keep my husky 455 rancher but that is bc my father gave it to me.

How much do you want for it. The only reason I offered that much was bc of the cosmetic condition. I have about 10 already so if it is not in decent cosmetic shape I will not pay much for it
Well shipped pho 120. Shipping will be like 40 bucks or so depending on where its going and that the only picture i have of at the moment
