I have a 3/4" cold chisel with a perfect taper for spreading bar grooves.

Ok so my "new" saw is apart and all cleaned up and getting ready for the blaster.
I was able to score a muffler and a new coil wire so after I'm done she'll be ready for paint, my 1st attempt at a Homelite.
I have the cylinder being repaired now and I'll fix the clutch cover myself.

Those 'C' series saws look good when they're all painted up.

So I had the cylinder from the C-72 repaired by a member here and what a fantastic job he did! Now I'll just drill and tap new bolt holes.

Got the full wrap back from the welder. The old Super 1050A looks wicked with the full wrap, ready for action!

Looks good! Full wrap, big dogs, 6 cube saw, all you need is a 36 inch bar on it and you'll have a true PNW saw!

Thats a great looking setup. I too wished that bar was 36" to do that saw justice.

I do have a 36" D009( modified)mount for it. It does make that 24 bar look tiny!

Sorry, the only presets I have are either for 1/4 pitch safety chain or .404.

Help - Throttle Response.
I have a DOM 1965 XL-12 that has great throttle response after warm up.
Then the longer I cut the worse the response gets.
It's just dead when I let it slow down to idle. It still cut greats otherwise.
It will not get better when tuning the carb.
Do I need a carb kit? Or is it sucking air somewhere?

The left is an EZ-6 and the right is a 7-19. Both appear to have a similar paint scheme. Can you post a picture of the otherside?

After looking at the pull handle and the red cylinder cover I agree it could be an original EZ.
