hello all!
I’ve got another saw I would like to get rid of. My strong running 262xp with a ks cylinder and a 120 carb. I’ve also got the old ks cylinder and a mhale cylinder to go along with it. It’s got a new case half off a 257 and it does not have a second hole for the exhaust mounts. I tried to drill a hole and tap it to accommodate the second mount and realized it would not work so I filled it in with jb weld. It does not leak. I completely rebuilt this thing from the ground up. New skf bearings new husky seals new to me ks cylinder with base gasket deleted. Sealed with dirko ht. .020” squish. New metor piston and caber rings. Compression is 170 psi. I’ve run less than one tank through it since the new ks cylinder and the caber rings. I had the metor piston in the mhale cylinder but it was rubbing on the intake side of the piston. so I bought the new ks and installed a new caber ring on the metor piston so there are scuff marks on the intake side. I can take pics of the scuff if you like. It’s got a second port on the left side of the exhaust with the cover trimmed to accommodate. I also did about a 7 degree timing advance. This thing pulls a 24” bar like a champ. I’ve got new fuel line and filter with a new Oiler line and screen as well. It’s a strong running saw but I’ve got to let it go. It was going to be my personal saw so I didn’t care about how it looked so it’s kind of dirty but it was going to be a work saw.

Power head only.
