Been using Husky low smoke that I've been getting at TSC. Picked some Husky XP off ebay for less than it is at TSC. Is it pretty much the same oil with different labeling?

They are both synthetic blends. XP may just have a different formulation. I always used Husky LS until I found out it wasn't fully synthetic. I have switched to Klotz R50.

I have been running the low smoke at 32-1 with no problems for quite awhile. So I will do the same with the XP. Thanks

The oils have a different JASO certification. The xp is a c rating and the low smoke is a d. The xp had too many visual particulates to make the d rating. I use xp. Husqvarna will uphold its warranty with any brand oil you use as long as it is JASO certified.
