Seriously tho why not tear it down and put that p&c on it? You would be able to get more money out of it. Its super easy.

Absolutely. Those bearings went without oil too.

If it was "straight gassed" it would have def lock up a few minutes into the tank, bearings would be ok if it was just "straight gassed" and didnt score for any other reason like an air leak or something.

There's a thread around the net somewhere about a Dolmar 420 out east that's being ran on gas with fuel conditioner. They'll "run" for a while.

Bearings, seals and gaskets are cheap, why take the chance on a new P&C? When I build.a xpw from a brand new xtorq saw never fuelled, I still split the saw and replace the plastic caged bearings w metal. Why? The plastic werent made to turn the rpm of the unlimited coils I am gonna use. Cheap insurance.

Been sitting on my shelf for 2 months, do not have time for the repair, plus many people like to do their own repairs so they have no doubt it was done. Repaired its worth 550 easily so I think its priced fair. Husqvarna OEM P&C kits are not cheap. I am a dealer for them. I too can buy the cheap kits for $50, but many like oem genuine parts. Thought I'd offer them at a discount too. Thanks

That's about all I feel comfortable paying for a blown saw. Jmo. OP can ask what he thinks it's worth. My offer stands.

you are gonna have a hell of a time getting much more than half of what you are asking. bottom line is it doesnt run and needs work. if its worth $550 when fixed then fix it and sell it that way, otherwise, you will get offers that reflect the condition (i.e. for parts or repair). ive bought good running oe 372s for less than you want for one thats burned up.

I have built and sold in the last year 7-372 oe's and the last one I got $550 shipped for it. My point is one cannot give $350 and then sink $225 in a saw and turn it for profit as most on here do. Most men on here do not buy to keep as personal saws.
