Hi All. I'm a newbie here and I'm hoping someone can finally tell me how to fix this saw. For the record I've read other threads on the site with the same problem and none of the solutions have fixed the oil leak.
In a nut shell my Husqvarna 142 will leak all the bar oil out in a matter of a day or 2, always has. Anyway I cleaned up the saw today filled it with oil and set it on the bench to watch where the oil was coming from and it didn't take long. Above and to the right of the bar mounting bolts there is a hole with a small channel below it that oil just streams from while just sitting there. I found an explode view but of course it shows the wrong side of the saw :-( One of the parts (#11 on the attachment) is referred to as the oil vent tube and looks like it could go to the hole I referenced. Please take a look and tell me what
