Husqvarna 2100 muffler

Hey all,

Anyone know if a husqvarna 480 muffler will work on a 2100?

They look very pretty much the same. Wondering if anyone has done this.

They're not interchangeable - the spacing for the mounting holes is slightly different.

Ok thanks. Ever patch one up before? Tired some Jb weld type stuff with no luck. Might attempt to braze it or see if someone can tig weld it for me.

Welding is your best bet - there are some members here who've done a lot of welding on saw mufflers.

JB Weld is USELESS for that sort of repair. I prefer braze or TIG. I have MIG welded a few but you really have to be careful not to blow thru thin areas........Cliff
