What are the factory carburetor settings for H & L? I am having to go way out like some of the plastic Poulans to get it to run at all.

The older husky 240s/240se the carb adjustment was 1 turn out from clockwise for the low speed, 9/10 of a turn out from clockwise on the high speed. Make sure the air filter is clean.

Let it idle then turn the low speed in till it almost stalls then open it 1/2 turn.
