I don't have a 357 but did get a 359 yesterday. I haven't had a chance to do a compression check yet but it feels good, a little hard starting but runs good. I was going to mess around with it a bit but I'd take $250 + shipping if you want it.

Have him show you a picture of p/c on 257 with 140psi. If it's good, put in a new ring and start cutting. I would vacuum check it first.
