Up for sale is a 272XP. I bought this saw as a carcass and completely went through it. It has new bearings, new seals, all new gaskets, a freshly rebuilt carb, the HD air filter setup, and a new oem piston. I’ve grown tired of fixing saws and I don’t want to mess with it. The cons are that the p.o. drilled a hole in the muffler as a second port, the top cover is aftermarket, and as I was assembling it the flywheel side seal got the surface of the rubber scuffed up, but it appears to still be air-tight. I haven’t run it at all since assembling it. I’d like to get $275 + shipping for it. That’s roughly what I’ve got into it so I won’t go any lower on the price.

Lord i got a guy been trying to get me to sell mine for 650 for the past 3 months...this is a bargain

Yes, it is still for sale. I used genuine Husqvarna oem bearings and seals ordered straight from my local husky dealer. The cylinder is an oem cylinder in excellent condition, it had a little transfer when I got it but it cleaned up nicely. The piston is a brand new oem piston as well.
