Okay, 2 years ago, I purchased a 345 from a guy for $20, he broke his buddy's saw and had to buy him a new 1. He ran straight gas in it, cylinder wall and piston roasted. I want to big bore it, what's a good brand? I refuse to use china or low quality, I was made in USA high grade material.

Buy an oem 346 top end, can be had for around $110 for the whole kit from any dealer.

Also, i doubt you’ll find a single manufacturer of chainsaw cylinders in the US. Also, I saw a stihl oem piston with “made in china” right on the box not long ago...fwiw. Pretty sure the oem husky top end i have at home is made in brazil
