I have for sale a Husqvarna 353 with a new, OEM 346NE top end. This saw is in very nice mechanical and cosmetic condition. The new top end has zero hours. It’s only been started to tune and adjust idle. $325 plus $25 shipping east of the Mississippi, vis UPS Ground. Pictures coming.

Did we find out what caused the original top end failure?

There wasn't a failure. I just converted to the 346 top end.

Pics added! Also, I added a 288 outlet on the muffler and plugged off the decompression hole.

Not sure why this is still here, must be folks want to try a new 550 for about twice as much. Me too but this would make a great firewood saw that should last for a long time and will never have to go to the dealer for updates lol.

I thought so, too. I’ve been trying to get my buddy to buy it. He keeps saying he wants something that’ll run mainly a 20” and that’s 60cc territory. He’s missing out on a great saw.

I normally run a 16” or 18”, but this saw is very capable of running a 20”, in .325”
