Want to start off saying hi. New to the forum and appreciate any help and advice you are willing to give me. I own a Husqvarna 450 Rancher and finding pretty much anything about it is overly complicated. I had it serviced last spring and went from the stock 20" bar to a 3/8, 18 inch bar. Noticed some wear and tear on my sprocket and wanted to replace it. Was looking for advice on what sprockets I should be using for my chainsaw and how they vary. I have used chainsaws have not done much to them service wise.

Not sure...is the sprocket integrated into the clutch? I had a 455 rancher that was and I replaced the clutch so I could use a rim sprocket.

You'l probably get more/better replies in the chainsaw section

I think the OEM Sprocket on the 450 Rancher was .325 Pitch.
When you had the 3/8 Bar and Chain put on it . Did they swap the sprocket too?

Usually the Pitch is stamped on the Sprocket. You’ll need to pull the side cover and look.

It will looking something like this

No the sprocket wasn’t replaced when I had it serviced. I’ll need to look at the sprocket/clutch to see what size pitch the sprocket is.
