Hi everyone.
I've got a husqvarna 455 rancher, it's about 10 years old and gets moderate use.
The oil flow seems to have slowed down to 1/3 of the intended flow.
Where do I start with fixing this?

Many thanks

James

There's a bit of oil coming through when I do this. The hole on the bar is clear. I think the problem is in-between the oil tank and the oil slot.

I'm noticing that I don't use much oil and the bar is sounding dry.

This model has a very short oil pipe inside the oil tank with a small, simple filter on the end.

How could I clean the oil line/filter?

Thanks

James

You can take the oil pump off and take everything apart OR empty the oil tank and pour some fuel mix in it and slosh it around and crank it up WITHOUT the bar and chain, you don't want any Sparks. You could use diesel fuel it might be a bit safer.
