Husqvarna 550xp

I bought this saw with a scored piston in my attempt to add a 550xp to the stable. I installed a new oem cylinder and piston. The muffler has been opened up under the spark screen. It sounds pretty good. Runs really nice.

I haven’t used it a whole bunch due to having too many saws, and I am usually hiking with a single saw in a pack. Ended up picking up another 550xp local so I don’t need this one.

Why did you buy another 550XP if you had this one that you didn’t use much and now your selling the rebuilt one?

So I found the other one locally. It was really cheap for a 550 so I had to jump on it on it. I’m addicted to a 50cc deal! I’m trying to thin out the stable a bit. Hope this helps.

I bought an old kelty frame pack and made a cutout in the bottom for the saw handle to rest in. Then a cutout for the bar to stick out of. It was a fun little project and it’s very stable and comfortable on my back. I do a lot of volunteer saw work on hiking and mountain bike trails.
