Hey do you guys have any recommendations for something to measure tree height with good level of accuracy? I run into a lot of residential felling scenarios where it would come in handy. I cant seem to find anything on any of the regular tree gear sites.

Saw this on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Rangefinder-Hypsometer-Batteries-Lumintrail/dp/B084G8TRG9/ref=sr_1_1?crid=39MT43BJUV2U3&dchild=1&keywords=hypsometer+forestry&qid=1605850792&sprefix=hypsomete,aps,174&sr=8-1

For $450 it doesn't sound bad.
Haglof Vertex's are super nice but a little pricey. They do the trig in the unit, are more accurate, account for slope, etc. I use mine regularly for both arboriculture and forestry applications, one of the best tools I have.
