I was thinking that it looks a LOT like a Water Tube Boiler, rather than the Fire Tube Boilers that most think of, when discussing Boilers

If I wanted big I'd go with a rocket stove using 55gal barrels. It may not be as big but would have to be far more efficient than that behemoth.

Rocket stove - I would love to do that, but my home is a 100-year-old Victorian.
But my shop needs a new stove - maybe I should build one in there. Thanks for the idea.
OK, now I need to start a thread about that.
