ID This Tree

I was given a couple loads of firewood but can't ID it. wachoo tink? thanks.

Before I decided to post, I thumbed through my Audubon Field Guide to Trees and couldn't find a match for the bark. It was already cut up and there were no leaves to look at. I looked up both the Coffee Tree and the Hackberry in the guide and the pictures of the bark they show don't match what I have very well.

We have some trees around my area that look similar. I have always referred to them as soapberry.

Looks like oak with space herpes, but I would imagine that really isn't the case.

it occurred to me that the perspective there isn't very good. Those are 4-6" diameter limbs. the base was 12-14"ish
