Agreed on the recommendation for FLchainsawJoe’s saw.

A Husky 357xp is an awesome saw with very little weight to horsepower ratio.

Another recommendation would be a Makita 6401 with some mods, but it weighs more than the Husky...


Really need your budget and if you want to buy new or used, etc...

Agree with Dahmer! Echo CS 590 Timberwolf cannot be beat for cost and value. Just picked a new one up at an Echo dealer who was having a 20% off sale. Brand new, walked out of there for just 319.00. (plus 5 yr warranty).
