I'm new to arborist site, and kinda new to chainsaw carving ( I've made 3-4 carvings) . I'm not new to running a chainsaw or working my a%# off, I've worked construction for 40 years or so and have heated with wood all of my adult life( hence the chainsaw experience). But I want to do more carving and am currently rebuilding a stihl 026 to carve with. Any suggestions for a good bar and chain to start off with and a good place to get it?? Thanks in advance and as always.....BLESSINGS!!

I'm no expert, but really like the 1/4 chains,. .325 works well in most cases, but 1/4 cuts clean and smoother and allowing you to get better detail.
My first bar was from Bailey, woodland pro dime tip , probably not the best quality, but alright for me being a beginner.
