Wilted cherry leaves are reported to be toxic to ruminants (sheep, cattle, goat) and hind gut fermenters (rabbits, horses). Chickens is like a dinosaur and more durable than a tire tool. Not too much bothers them.

Wild Cherry leaves and bark contain Prunasin, a cyanide known Prussic Acid that when ingested can be fatal. It’s only when they are green that it’s a problem. No farmers let Wild Cherries grow around livestock. When I was a kid a bunch of Scouts got sick roasting Marshmallows on green Cherry scewers. If they had of scraped the bark off, the probably would have been OK.
