is the efco 156 the same as John deere cs65

they look the same and F co makes John Deere chainsaws and they're both 3. 45 cubic inches. John Deere wants over $30 for user manual Lucia 65 however the 156 on this page looks identical to it are they the same chainsaw

The JD equivalent is the CS56. There was also the Cub Cadet 2156. The CS65 is the 165.

I guess I need to be posting in the chainsaws subform and not the efo thread Because I'm not getting answers there.
I looked at the John Deere parts site for the CS 56 and from what I could tell it only offered a file for the chain in three sixteenth size which surprised me because I thought I could get differect size chains for my chainsaw.

do you know if thats right or at least if the chain that came with the CS 56 takes a three sixteenth file?

I already have a chainsaw file that's 3/16
but of its the wrong size I need to order another asap

The file size depends on the chain, not the chainsaw model. 3/16" is what fits most (but not all) .325 chain.

3/8" chain usually take a 7/32" file, unless it is Stihl chain.
