Wow - you have some good friends! I loaned a buddy my dumptruck for a day and he didn't even put any gas in it.
Dang!
Last time I loaned a buddy a truck, it came back full of fuel, washed, and with a case of beer.
Road tolls? What's a road toll? A toll road? Completely confused in Washington stateAlong with 3 parking tickets and several toll road violations.

Doug, I blew through Portland about 6-7 years ago on the way to Lincoln City. Rode our scooters to see Blue Oyster Cult at one of the casinos. A lot of the freeway system was being remodeled, or redone. Maybe updated is the proper term. The only toll road I've put a nickel in was in southern Florida.. I was kinda trying to get our friends goat on the east coast..I don't think we realize just how nice it really is on this side of the country. And I've driven to florida twice and rode it once.Don't get over to the Western side of the state much do you Beetle?, unfortunately they DO have em, just the old HOV lanes now, you can pay a toll to use them, because they were total failures as HOV lanes.
Here in the Portland area, the Portland PIECE Of SHITT, er, Uhm, I mean Mayor,(Tax Em') Ted Wheeler wants to implement "Congestion Pricing" basically tolling the working class out of their cars during rush hour so the "Privileged" aren't inconvenienced by Traffic, typical Liberal Democrat thinking (Rather, LACKg, g of Thinking)

That kind of stuff is new to me.. Haven't been on the other side of the state in ages. I don't think I would know how to drive with all the traffic.. Hope it doesn't come over hereBeetlejuice, there are NO TOLLBOOTHS on the Washington roads that are tolled, you can buy an EZ Pass, I think that it is called, and if you have it, it automatically detects it, and deducts it from your Pass balance, if you don't have the EZ Pass, the system takes a PICTURE of your LICENSE PLATE, and the state sends you a bill.
Portland is planning the same system for our "Congestion Pricing" plan, plus if they ever get the new "Columbia Crossing" bridge built, I have heard they plan on using that system there too.

Doug.. I live downtown Spokane, almost.. The north/south freeway is moving along at the speed of gear reduction MALL. But more happening with Trump in power. Don't know if good or bad. No opinion really.. We enjoy doing the white elephant, and general store. My buddy owns general store so nice to get friends and family discount tho we don't use it very often. At the "Y" is where the chainsaw boneyard is.. Can find most anything if ya don't mind getting dirty. Nice owner. I can't ***** too much.. We like it here. Same house 35 yrs.. And Spokane is about 5 yrs behind everyone else. And no easy pass.. Florida toll road was stop and toss quarter in the basket. Old schoolDo you get into Spokane much? has the new 395 bypass helped Division much? they needed that bypass for a LOOOOOOONG time, it was just about done when I quit going to Spokane, about 16 years of going there almost every week, the bypass almost DONE, and I'm Done going there Go Figure, I sure miss the White Elephant Stores, Dayum they had some Great prices on all kinds of things.
Doug
Maybe you'll develop the addiction by then.. It just takes 1 saw that needs a little TLC and you're off and running. AND, we live in collectable chainsaw heaven. MAC in the day was based in LA. and PNW was logging Nirvana. Hense, a treasure trove sitting in garages and barns from central Montana to Puget Sound, and North/south as far as the eye can see..sep some of Arizona.
