Interesting read and backs up some of the reports of certain brands leaving carbon. I used a lot of the old Klotz oil back in the 70’s racing my 450 Maico.

Maxima Castor 927 mixed at 32:1 here. Wish it had dye in it but I love the smell.

Stihl in the silver bottle or Quick Silver in the silver bottle, semi synthetic. If it helps, I pour the QS in the Stihl bottles to mix 1 gal.

Both are blue in color, always look so I don't straight gas my saws.

Stihl premium is green for me. That's weird.
