I have posted a few times about this saw, although, I kept putting it as a 2145. I replaced the cylinder and piston with a 2050 due to some exhaust scoring on the original piston. Replaced rubber intake boot and grommet and now have figured out that my leakdown test was losing pressure due to a leak in my rubber seal plate at the carb.
I can't get this saw to go rich enough on the high end. I have cleaned it and blown a little air in the passages and this carb seems clean. It starts and idles great. It winds up great, but I just can't get it to 4-stroke when I wind it up.
I could use the max RPM stats if anyone can help me out with that. NEver had this trouble before. IT shouldn't run this way with no pressure/vac leak.
Oh, I also rotated the crank and tested pressure. Replaced fuel hose as well.
I am really getting ready to give the saw a swift kick in the butt!
