Sold Jonsered 2139T Top Handle Chainsaw - For Sale

Have a nice Jonsered 2139 Chainsaw for sale - only parts I know it's missing are side cover bar & chain. Cosmetic damage on spark plug cover. Have not tried to tune or mess with, just pulled muffler and piston looked OK. Runs, and pretty darn good too for sitting I don't know how long on a shelf. I put only ethanol free gas in it.

I saw your $325 asking price on ebay. That's probably what's scaring people away from an incomplete saw being sold "for parts or not working". A good clutch cover with working brake for those is not easy to find. I'm not trying to de-rail your thread just passing along why you might be having trouble moving it. I see these complete, in working order, sell for $200-$250. GLWS.

Hmm. I guess I'll probably take the next fair best offer I get on it then. I had a guy offer 225. I didn't really know what it was worth and thought it might be like the super expensive stihls that are 600 to 1000 bucks. Guess not. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks. I do really like the design of it though with the carburetor on the front. Doesn't look too bad to work on like some of the other top handles I've seen. I put a lot of work into a 192T at one time and holy wow did that thing drive me crazy. What a fiddly mess that was.
