Another 2166 here that has the "R" on the tank for refurbished. I looked it over pretty good and I don't see any evidence that it's been ran before, it does have a few scratches and a crack in the clutch cover(I driller the end of the crack so it won't spread) from being handled/shipped.
I can sell the powerhead only for $440 or with a 24" jonsered labeled Oregon replaceable tip bar and chain for $500, both prices are before shipping. For another $10 I'll swap the clutch cover for one without a crack.
Pictures coming shortly.
Thanks for looking Brett.

Here's some pictures of the scratches, chips.
The crack runs along the seam from the hole I drilled to the right, there is a chip in the paint on the right where it ends.

Very nice saw Brett. May want to clean it up! As always you sell some pretty saws. Sure everyone knows this can be made into a 2172 very easily, just saying. GLWS.
Thanks bud.
I'll get out the meguires and get to polishing it .
I have a couple getting converted and muffler modded right now for a bit more if that's what someone is after and they don't want to do the work themselves. One will have a base gasket delete too for a nice bump in compression.

I sold two of the nicer ones I've seen, one in each color, last year. They come and go. I have a pretty nice looking G model with a wrap on it's way.I've got a couple to do this winter and one should be a looker. If you're still looking when it's done I'll probably post it here.
Sure, let's see em:sweet:

You, I & Brett may have great condition 357s yet I stand by my assertion that the majority of the one's I've seen in the TP
have not been in tip top condition

I rarely use mine now

You can't go to the timber without bar and chain....
and get much done anyway.
Never ship bars, too much hassle.

If I deliver a saw, it comes w/ b/c

I usually deliver for a nominal fee it it's w/i a 100 mile trip of here

So when it says “R” for refurbish what exactly has been refused on it?
